This assignment consists of Sections I and II. There are five questions in each Section. You have
to answer a total of five questions in about 400 words each. It is necessary to attempt at least two
questions from each Section. Each question carries 10 marks.
SECTION-I
1) Define e-governance and bring out the legal and policy framework of ICT and 10
e-governance in India.
2) Discuss about the various applications of Information and Communication. 10
Technology that enable the public organizations to deliver effective public services.
3) Write a note on E-Panchayat Project in Andhra Pradesh. 10
4) ‘There are certain managerial tips that bring a digital transformation in the administrative
culture of public organizations.’ Elaborate. 10
5) Write a note on the role of Information and Communication Technology in women
empowerment. Also, give suggestions for effective ICT implementation in rural
development. 10
SECTION-II
6) Write a note on the concept and significance of e-learning. Also highlight the virtual
learning environment. 10
7) Elaborate upon the benefits and limitations of e-commerce. Also, describe the concept of
electronic payments. 10
8) Write a note on ICT applications in Indian Railways. 10
9) Detail out the various services offered through e-seva project. 10
10) Elaborate upon the ‘Saukaryam-An ICT Project’ in Visakhapatnam Municipal
Corporation of Andhra Pradesh.
