6.Critically assess India’s human-development experience with particular reference to health, education and social security.
7.Analyse how gender inequalities affect development outcomes in India. Discuss the significance of a gender-sensitive approach to development.
8. Examine the relationship between regional imbalances and migration in India. How do these processes reinforce uneven development?
9.Evaluate the impact of economic reforms and globalisation on democracy and development in India, with particular reference to inequality and environmental sustainability.
10. Write short notes on the following in about 250 words each:
(a) Religious politics and democratic development
(b) Ethnicity and the nation-state
